I really dislike that your restrooms are now unisex. They now stink and there is always a puddle of piss on the floor in front of the toilet, which is disgusting.
Ordered a birthday cake for son's 23rd birthday. Cake looked like something for a young girl. Handwriting was shakey, hand drawn balloons didn't look like balloons. Border trim colors were too Christmassy and too girly. I didnt select the colors so thats on me. Overall very disappointed. Not the first cake I've ordered but will be the last.
There are always new food items at this store, whether it's organic, produce, ethnic or bakery, I always find something new to try. The sushi is my next candidate. 😋 The last time I got adventurous I got a dragon fruit & I was glad I tried it, but wasn't thrilled with the flavor. I'll keep trying. Their weekly specials are great
I would have given 5 stars, but they do not sell pig cheek (Guanciale) and original Cremora coffee creamer.
Cremora has a better flavor than any other brands.
Great selection of top quality food. I will say the workers need customer education at times coz, they can be a little rude and antisocial, but other than that, it blows walmarts doors off on how well the store runs.
Martins is a great experience, depending on your needs.
The store has a very large variety of items.
I tend to come to this location if other stores are out of items.
I had issues finding a certain almond milk, which they did have the one I wanted to get.
The store is very clean, but with different sales each week, certain items are moved around, and I have to find a staff member. The staff that are stocking are superfriendly and very helpful.
With checking out, it depends on when you go. I know one of the guys that has been at the checkout is very sociable and nice. Others not so much. Lines are long, and it is a wait.
The deli has a very nice variety, but it's a decent wait.
Besides awesome staff that are stocking, the produce is normally the best in the area. I go for milk and produce when I shop. Other items I get at other stores in the area.
The prices are high and a lot of times even on sale other stores are cheaper.
The ailes in the store are not as wide and can be difficult when there are several people in the aisle.
The Martin's brand is a high-quality product and would recommend it. We have gotten chips, popcorn, and different kinds of noodles. Also there meat products are very good.
It is nice to shop, but the hassle with finding the item, waiting in line, and the cashiers have rang up items incorrectly by scanning twice or putting the wrong vegetable in which cost more. Getting one or two items, it normally isn't worth it for myself.
You have to say hi to Marty when you're in, you will see him scooting around.
Specialty food items or certain allergies they have a lot of variety, and no other store has the items in the DuBois area.
I would shop more, but with:
Inconsistent cashiers
Long lines
Trouble finding items that were moved
And higher prices, I tend to shop other stores.
If you need specialty food due to an allergy, I would go here.
