They had a good breakfast, one of the best calzones I have ever had, and also got some chicken tenders and French fries. I forgot to snag pictures of the food but I got one of the receipt. Customer service was good, however I ordered a wrap and recieved a sandwich pretty upset about that since I live 40 mins away and didn’t realize it until I was home. Also the lady picking up before me wasn’t given her entire order. I will say it seemed they were training a new counter person so we will cut them some slack in that way. However with 3 other employees helping her I do expect better, with a near empty dining room on a Friday evening.

I endeavor to avoid being critical, but after residing here for several years, the once commendable reputation of this establishment appears to have diminished in recent times, particularly in terms of the care and quality of takeout food. One instance exemplifies this trend. Upon ordering a vegetable pizza, I received a fully loaded meat pizza, which I initially perceived as a jest. Upon contacting the establishment, a waitress acknowledged that such errors were not uncommon, assuring me of a complimentary replacement pizza and a follow-up call from management. Regrettably, no such communication ensued. Subsequently, despite refraining from patronizing the establishment for a period, I decided to give it another chance. Opting for the slider basket, I specified a “medium” doneness in the order notes, coupled with a courteous tip and a written expression of gratitude. Unfortunately, upon returning home, the sliders were excessively charred, bereft of proper buns, replaced instead by sections of a sub bun. It seems that the establishment’s commitment to food quality in takeout orders may be contingent upon the generosity of tips for online orders. While cognizant of the challenges in the food service industry, consistent lapses in adhering to basic standards for takeout orders suggest a need for managerial reassessment and policy adjustments to ensure adherence to established quality standards by the staff. Never had a burger on a pretzel bun until I stumbled upon them at Matt's. And it am so glad that I did because they are so delicious and filling. When I am in the mood for a good burger that is what I get. I like their website to order food quick and easy and you can choose a time that you would like to get your food. Got off the highway looking for some grub and were very pleased to find Matt's place. Samantha was a great server and the good came out hot, fast and delicious, oh, and very reasonably priced! I had the Rueben with French onion soup and a side salad and my wife had the smothered chicken and a side salad. We couldn't finish it all, took leftovers home and the bill was only $31.00. Had a great experience. My boyfriend and myself had the Frisco melt and my soon to be Mother in law had the Patty melt. Very nice atmosphere and well cleaned. Friendly staff and great food. We all plan on going back soon ! September 7th 2023 Was on our way home from Houghton Lake and decided to call and place a pick up order for a large cheese and pepperoni pizza (the meat lovers we ordered the week before was delicious) got there to pick it up and it wasn't ready. I had no problem waiting since I knew they would be busy. I got the pizza home and it was a cheese pizza with pepperoni thrown on top. As soon as you picked a piece of pizza up they fell off. I LOVE your pizza and I know you can do better. I will order another one. Still ate it but not anywhere as good as the others. My chicken was so over cooked on the bottom the knife couldn't cut through it. Left on the flat top for far too long. Very dry. They were really busy but not going to let serving food like that off the hook. My wife had breakfast and the sausage links were like pure fried fat. Just not the quality I was looking for. Food is phenomenal!!! The presentation of the food and amount of food is beyond expectations! And prices are great too! definitely a must go to if in Roscommon MI either on vacation or just passing through a must stop by and try! Its not a huge place so be prepared to wait for seating or just order it to go but definitely dont miss out on this place to eat.
