I'm going to keep this short. One thing that is great in Macedonia is the "kafanas" but "Meckuevska Kukja" might be the best one at the moment. Waiting time for food might take some time if it's full (and it usually is) but that is to be expected in my opinion.

Food was miserable. We ordered veal roast, pork schnitzel and pork rib and everything was served cold to us. The veal roast was the most miserable of all. The meat was not tasty at all and the pieces were so small. It seemed like we were served someone else's leftovers.
It is pretty expensive. Prices are above the average in a Macedonian restaurant.
The hygiene could be improved. The glasses were a bit dirty with stains. We asked the waiter to replace them, but it seems he brought back the same, dirty ones.
The waiters were chaotic and not so kind and devoted to pleasant user experience.
The atmosphere was bad. We went on a Saturday afternoon for a lunch there and it was crowded and very loud. There was even live music, but it wasn't pleasant at all.

I had an absolutely delightful experience.
From the moment I stepped inside, I was transported to a world of authentic Macedonian culture and cuisine.
The ambiance was a perfect blend of cozy and rustic, creating the ideal setting for an immersive dining experience. The warm lighting, traditional decor, and soft background music added to the overall charm.
But what truly sets this restaurant apart is the incredible food. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with rich flavors and showcasing the depth of Macedonian culinary traditions. The attention to detail and the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients were evident in every bite.
The staff, led by the friendly and welcoming owner Puze, were exceptional. Their passion for the cuisine and their dedication to making every guest feel at home truly shone through. Puze himself took the time to engage with customers, offering recommendations and sharing stories about the dishes, making the dining experience even more special.
I can't recommend the Macedonian Traditional Restaurant enough. It's a true gem that offers an unforgettable taste of Macedonia and hospitality at its finest. I can't wait to return and explore more of their delectable menu.

Food heaven, top notch food never had better in my entire life. Service is exceptional, greeted by the owner at the door and made sure we are happy with our table and beyond. Vibes and atmosphere is unmatched. There are not enough stars I can rate this place near ever expectation I can imagine and beyond. Truly heavenly, this is as close as you get to eating with the gods.

Interior is totally not my style but here it's very popular so it's simply part of the culture. I ordered few things from the menu but waiter said they don't have any of it... I was surprised to hear they don't have grilled vegetables (!!!), although it was in a menu and it's easy to prepare... But all the rest was great. They have awesome breaded zucchini! Dishes are big, food is great, toilet is modern and clean, there is a place to park. They also have an entrance for strolleys but it's very steep. They have a beautiful surrounding with water, flowers and other decorations. As a mother I was delighted to see place for changing naps - with soft light, toys and free naps - that't why I'm giving them 5 stars!!
