The food is excellent and the staff is friendly. I like the chicken fajita quesadilla and choripollo. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is good. Super clean. We’ve been here many times and never been disappointed. One of the best in the area for sure. I reserve 5 star ratings for really excellent deserving places. I was a bit dubious when I saw all of the 5 star ratings for Mi Taquito but after eating there we both agreed that this restaurant really does deserve the 5 stars. These are the best chips we have found anywhere in Iowa. Tasty salsa and several selections of hot sauce available if you would like to kick it up a little. We tried the beef fajitas with charro beans and a 20 oz house margarita. The food came out hot and delicious and the margarita was very good. The service was excellent and they were quick to provide anything that we needed. We've tried the Mexican restaurants from Atlantic to Carroll to Harlan and including Audubon but this is the only one that we agree we would like to visit again. I highly recommend it. I had the Seafood Chimichanga. It was delicious. Wife had a burger and fries. Fries could have stood another 30-40 seconds fry time. Hers was good as well. Promptly seated and served. Very good food, fast service, very friendly. Y'all need to try them. To bad I only got here once a year as this would be my choice if I wanted to go out to eat.
