We went here on a Saturday evening for dinner. I didn’t make reservations in time but I was able to get on the waitlist before we left our house. It said there was a 30 minute wait which worked because we were about 25-30 minutes drive away. We received a text saying our table was ready as we were parking. Got seated as soon as we checked in with the front door. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We told her it was our first time there and she went over a few of the most ordered items with us. While we waited for our drink order they brought us popcorn and water quickly. My husband got one of their burgers and I asked her opinion between two items. Based on her suggestion I ordered the Seared Rainbow Trout. The food came out within ten minutes. My husband said his burger was good, tasted like it was fresh, not frozen. My dinner was excellent. Whatever they put on top of the trout made it very delicious. I ate the whole thing! The green beans were ok, could have been cooked less to be crisper and the little cornbread pieces were a little dry. But the fish made up for it all. They also had specialty drinks that night. I cannot remember what it was called but I ordered the one with vodka in it and a sugar rim, some kind of martini maybe 🤷🏼‍♀️. It was tasty. Our whole experience there was great. Just remember if you’re going to make reservations or join the waitlist before you leave your house. I heard the girls at the front door telling people it was a minimum 45 minute wait when we were leaving. If you haven't been.... Then what are you waiting for? Start yourself off with a Rum slushy but be careful there so good you might get carried away. Then be sure to get yourself some yummy sweet potato fries they are to die for! And the atmosphere is chill and peaceful. Warm up next to the fire 🔥 inside and out you can't go wrong. Big shout out to Kyle Lane the best GM in the world,,,probably the planet!! He's the Best!!! (He should have a raise) He made my day ❤️ And for that Grandma Texas will be back. Amazing place! First off our waitress, Kelly, did a phenomenal job. She was quick and incredibly attentive and kind! My husband and I did a friday night date here and we got the fried green tomatoes to start which were SO good. I'd come here just for those. Then I got what Kelly recommended which was the salmon and came with brussel sprouts. It was amazing! Cooked to perfection! My husband got the hanger steak with potatoes and also said his food was fantastic! We'll definitely come back for another date. The vibes were great and the popcorn to start was a nice perk!
