It's not a quiet place, but having been to actual Trattorias in Italy, none of them are. It's been a few months since we were there last. My daughter once worked there and there was a management issue at that time. It's been renovated and updated, both in facility and personnel. I wouldn't have went, but my daughter wanted to go there. Food was very tasty, nice portions for the price. My server's personality was bright and cheery throughout my entire experience. She was also very attentive to our needs. Only flaw was one piece of my silverware did not appear to be properly washed. I have a dairy allergy that I keeps me from enjoying social gatherings sometimes. I was able to enjoy my meal with no stress because the waiter, Derrick, and 2 managers went above and beyond preparing my food safely. Outstanding experience at this Olive Garden location. Place was clean, staff was friendly, and the food was hot and tasty. Shout out to our server Keanan. Perfect for reasonably priced date nights or dinners. The free soup refill always are worth it for me. The chicken and gnocchi soup is a comfort food. I used to come here every year for my birthday and multiple times throughout, never was disappointed. Their waiters and waitresses are always so pleasant and respectful and their food will fill you up! Their salad is also amazing but sometimes it can be overwhelming portion sizes for just two people. I think this is perfect for families. Very accommodating especially for a birthday dinner PSA: I recommend reserving a table in advance through text message or at the front desk. Olive Garden is obviously a national chain restaurant, and the Columbus Georgia restaurant stays true to form. Our visit there was very relaxing and enjoyable. The atmosphere was busy, busy, busy but we never felt neglected or overlooked. Our waiter has been with the establishment for over 5 years and knew the ever-changing menu inside and out. Members of our party were handicapped and had dietary restrictions, but the staff jumped to service our every need. Everyone in our party ordered a different menu item and everyone was pleased with their choice. The food was fresh and we all took home doggy bags. It was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely continue to visit Olive Garden restaurants around this Southeast. Went on Monday night dinner Pros: 1.the servers talk nicely and take care and recommend good dishes as we did not knew much about Italian food. 2. Food was served freshly made as per server and it tasted good. Cons 1. Not sure why were told to wait for 15-20 minutes for a table when we arrived without checking, we decided to wait and within 5 minutes, we got a booth. It was not really much crowded and we saw many empty tables. 2. This seems SCAM. They have kept a tablet screen device at the table. While waiting for food, I just browsed through it and it had some racing game that I click start but never actually played. I was not on the screen even for 1 min and the charged almost $3 for it. Food is always delicious and the portions are huge. Like everywhere, there seems to be a shortage of workers but our server was attentive to us while managing to also cover the entire section where we were. One issue...there were way too many purple onions in the salad. A few would be ok but they were excessive!
