The greeters were welcoming and even though they were very busy the service was amazing! Our waiter was awesome and the food was delicious. I never once had to ask him for more tea cause it kept my cup full. Wonderful experience

Ryne was our server. He was pretty good. We had not been to this location in a while. Every time we came here, it never failed, our food came out cold, and there was always an issue. We decided to come by for lunch. We noticed their meat platter was gone along with a couple of other menu items. That sucked, but it was not an issue. My husband ordered the Ranchero. He wanted his steak medium rare. It came out medium well. They had to send it back. It was a minor issue. I ordered the lunch chicken fajitas, and they were good. I'm not sure if it's new staff or new management, but it has been a different experience from the past couple of years. I was part if a group, and nit everyone arrives at rhe same time. Yet our server took care of us all, and was quick to help anyine that arrived late. We ate, and got iur checks in plenty of time to get across the parking lot for our movie, The Chosen S4. The food wasn’t as good as I remember. It’s been 2 years since I last visited. The server definitely ruined it for us as far as customer service. If you ever get Christopher, ask for a new server; who will bring you your drinks quicker than 15 minutes. My husband asked for no beans and yet, his plate was practically full of them. 👎🏼 Just not interested in going back again. My first time at on the border and it seriously did not disappoint. Food was awesome, atmosphere was comfortable and the service was beyond top notch. I got Lamar as a server for my first time and I’m glad I did. He made it feel like I was somewhere id been a hundred times. Will definitely eat here again. We stopped in on New Year's Eve and sat in the bar area. The hostess was very friendly and our waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was alright. We wanted to try the Holiday Swirl Margaritas. It was barely frozen and about 90% Melon and only 10% strawberry. I was shopping in the Mansfield area around Christmas time and I decided to treat myself to dinner. On the Border is one of my favorite places for fajitas however I had never been to this specific location before but I have eaten at many of their other locations in and out of state and they are usually pretty consistant. The waiter came over and took my order he wasn't overly friendly but whatever it's his tip and a little while later he drops off my beef fajitas. So first thing that went wrong was the waiter never came back to check on me or the order until about 20 minutes later and they really were not that busy, my coke was completely empty while I waited for someone to walk by to check on me. Now the issue with the food, the beef fajitas were completely over cooked and the meat tasted like it had not been seasoned at all it was beyond bland and just really plain bad. I ate about half because I was hungry but I kept hoping it was going to get better. I was just disgusted as I waited for the waiter to come by because I just blew about 30 bucks for this meal when I could have gotten a way better meal at taco bell for a lot less money. When the waiter finally sauntered back by I did something I normally do not do, I complained. It was a no drama complaint but I was so pissed I was really looking forward to the fajitas that I love from On the Border and what a Huge disappointment. The manager ended up comping half the meal which was fair and not really my intention but that being said I will never go back to this location again. When it costs so much to go out to eat these days who wants to take a chance that their meal is going to be over cooked and under seasoned and the waiter takes a vacay after he drops off your food.
