OUTBACK to the rescue!! My daughter’s 16 birthday was supposed to be at Texas Roadhouse. I get it they don’t take reservations. I kept in touch with them 4 times during the week leading up to her birthday. Each time was told my party of 13 should get on the waiting list at 3:30 the day of. Never once was I told anything different. Called 11:30 the day of and was told to call at 3:30 and speak to the server that does big parties. OK GREAT!!! Called 3:30 told 140 names were on the list before me. My party would have to be split into 6’s across the restaurant and eat around 8. Such a joke!!! In a panic I tried OUTBACK, knowing it was almost impossible. They gracious put me on the list and got us seated at 1 table around 5:10pm. Food was EXCELLANT. Service was PHENOMENAL even with our chaotic party. Outback has my patronage for life. I’m glad Texas Roadhouse didn’t stand up to their word. My daughter’s birthday was made so much better at OUTBACK!! Thank you to all the staff, you guys are amazing and truly made a girl’s 16th the best yet!!! Came in for lunch today. Just have to say the service and food was spectacular for how busy they were today. Melissa our bartender was super attentive despite being slammed, we had everything we needed. The food was hot and fresh. Props to the cooks! Firstly, Michele is very attentive. greet guests promptly and courteously and sets the tone. Knowledgeable about the menu, offering recommendations and answering questions about ingredients or preparation methods. Throughout the meal, she periodically check on us without being intrusive, ensured glasses were refilled and any requests were promptly fulfilled. Overall, good service with Michele a welcoming atmosphere that encourages us to return to her. The one star for food is simply because during our visit, I finished my first glass of soda and found a random strawberry in it. Then we had something foreign in our salad dressing. The server was Amazingly honest and nice. She admitted when she forgot to come back and take our order and apologized. She seemed like she may have been under a lot of stress to have waitressing as her job. Waitresses do get the blame often times for the rest of the staffs work simply because they are the face at the table, but she was incredibly nice and apologetic. The shift's manager handled the situation with kindness and compassion and in the right way, she comped our meal and gave us cards for next time so we may give this location one more try, but in my opinion, the Gaffney SC location is worth the drive. When it was time for our entree at this location in Spartanburg, I didn't have any trust left that I didn't have to examine it first. The service is good, but watch your food (and drink) for things that don't belong. Most of our food ended up getting packed up to go. Very much enjoyed everything about My dinner today. Food was as good as it's ever been. My waitress Taliayh was delightful. She was there for everything we needed with a beautiful smile. I have only ever ate the outback in simpsonville and this location was a lot better. Not only was the wait super fast our waiter was very friendly. I can’t remember his name but he was tall , had a lot of tattoos and had black hair. He kept our drinks full. Their Mac&cheese was so good the best part about my meal. Has good food for a chain restaurant. Yet, over the years I have been attending, I feel as if the menu and atmosphere never changes. It is more 'comfort food'. I normally take to go, but this rare time I ate in with family. The waitress was very nice and accomidating. We had the absolute best server- this young lady was so extremely attentive, and I could not believe how kind she was to my family, and especially to my children. She was patient and just extremely attentive. Please make sure to acknowledge her because she is simply amazing. Her name is Janay Session. I will definitely be coming back and I will ask for her! TC P ( server name) was a very good server and met all of our expectations. The manager of the store was very upbeat to all the guests. The atmosphere was good. There was a slight issue with the food but TC P did her best to remedy the situation. Ultimately a dish was taken off the bill as a result. Overall it was my first time at the restaurant and it met my expectations so as a result, I will be back someday. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
