Located at the basement of the palace, we dropped by here to have lunch before heading to Riga. There was a lunch course that comes with a main course (fish or meat) and salads, which you can take from the salad buffet table. The main course tasted so so but the salads were good, and the prices were reasonable. Very friendly staff, and they all spoke English, too. I just tried a cup of coffee but it was too long to wait for order then I quit.

I don't like to write bad reviews, so I'll start with a good one. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere pleasant and the service very nice. But that time. It took 20 minutes before we ordered 3 salads and one soup. There were only 4 people in front of us and the server said it would take a while. We waited 40 minutes for our food. All in all, 1 hour from the time you arrive at the restaurant.

Very cosy restaurant in a basement of palace. Excellent service, coffee, cakes and traditional local food. After visiting exposition and before going to baroque garden, plz visit Ozollade - you'll be very satisfied 💗

Best food we’ve had in Latvia. Value for money is unreal and everything from appetizers to desert is delicious & made with care from fresh ingredients. Can only recommend.
