I'll need to go again to be a better judge but my first impression on the pancakes is that they were okay. I'm on a hunt for Lancaster County's BEST pancakes. No luck after several places. Pancake Farm pancakes were good. Definitely "cake like". I did not find them "fluffy". I tried two different variations. Walnut and the apple cinnamon. I could not see or taste the cinnamon. Apple was from a can just on top and not in the pancakes. Whip cream on top. I'm somewhat surprised that there is only one type of pancake with just variations of toppings and not different types of pancakes too, like Buckwheat. Again, this is a good place to go, no doubt. They have several other types of breakfast foods to try that I did not, but will go back and try. A very busy place so it IS GOOD. This quaint little place has huge taste. The food is all fresh and you can taste that it is homemade. We even had to take some home. Our waitress was friendly and on top of our service. Can't understand how this place has a 4.6 star rating. Service was okay. Place was kinda cramped. The portion size for the price was terrible. Was maybe for a half size person. You could go to any Diner in the area and get double or even triple the amount of food for a dollar or two more. Thought maybe I ordered the appetizer size. I do not recommend. And where we were sat was close to the counter and we kept getting bumped by people going in and out. Let's not talk about how the employees kept hovering behind us. Felt rushed. Fantastic family style restaurant. Great service and genuinely friendly staff. We were surprised by the appearance of a long line, but the wait was very minimal.
