TeJay waited on our group of 4 and was very attentive throughout our visit. I had a special request and I truly felt TeJay listened to my request and came prepared in case the dish wasn’t to my liking. I’ve never had another server be so proactive before. Kudos TeJay!!!!! I placed an order. Picked up, I had added mashed potatoes and gravy as an extra side, when I got back to my hotel room I opened to see I didn't get a spoon and also no gravy on my mashed potatoes... I called and the gal phonix ( I believe she said her name was) to bring it back and they would add gravy. I did and when I walked in, she confirmed no gravy and she grabbed my container, took it back to the kitchen and added gravy. I was kinda shocked she just didn't give me a container of gravy. I ordered 2 dinners to go turkeys and a whole pie... I think I got gravy but couldn't see much. The turkey seems like pressed lunch meat. We didn't like the pie. It was a whole pumpkin pie. Texture mostly. I was so disappointed...we were with our elder friends. No one could say we would get that meal again. Good go-to for a consistent dining experience. Food is good, simple, which is nice. Like home style to a certain degree. The staff are friendly, and that is also consistent regardless of which Perkins you visit. The restaurants look the same they did 20 years ago. Maybe it's time to change up the looks?...
