Would have loved to have tasted the food! However, after 3 DD drivers waiting and waiting, & the restaurant postponing my order for over an hour..."they" (DD &/or the restaurant?) decided to cancel my order for not being able to fulfill all my items! Seriously?? If you knew you didn't have certain items &/or couldn't handle my not-so-big order in a timely manner, simply call me!! Tell me so, or ask if I want a sub &/or want to cancel an/any items! Don't wait 'til after an hr & make 3 DD drivers sit & wait for nothing; nor make my hungry household sit here not knowing what's up!!! Too bad, had high hopes for something different~~~

The food is good, I really liked their chicken. Both the pollo a la brasa and their seco de pollo are really flavorful and tender. They have chicha morada but it tastes like it came from a mix, though it's still good and not super sweet.
But don't arrive too hungry because the service is slooow. It's literally one main cook who is a woman and an older man who is a server, kitchen helper, and busser. My order came out 15 minutes after my friend's food, which she mostly finished by then.
Again, nice people and good food, but it literally is a mom & pop business, so I hope you're patient.

I am so happy that we finally have a Peruvian restaurant in the south burbs!!! I ordered the Peruvian chicken dinner. The chicken is the star of the meal! Juicy, flavorful, and just outright delicious! The dinner comes with salad, fries, and salad. The sides were ok…but I will definitely be back for the chicken! Also, don’t be thrown off by the curtain separating the kitchen from the dining room….trust me this place is legit!!!💕

I decide to try this restaurant because I love Peruvian food. The couple that served me were quite gracious. Unfortunately, the meal was a letdown. Although it was freshly prepared, the ceviche lack flavor, and for a plate that cost close to $18, I only received 1/10 of a piece of choclo and one end slice of sweet potato and cheap farm raised fish. Unfortunately, the Lomo Saltado, which costs roughly $18 for 10 small pieces of steak and a mountain of onion and tomato to cover the fact that there was little meat, was the biggest letdown, the flavor, though, was on point.I don't recommend the flautas de pollo but love the papa la huancaina. I don't mind spending a little bit more, but it seemed like I was at a tapas restaurant due to the extremely small portions. The service was so slow, only one meal was brought to the table at a time, since the cook is the waiter.
