Very good food and the service was fine but the location is not for everyone. It's quite big and noisy. We ordered some cocktails which where nice but they forgot to put some items in. After we brought that to their attention, they more than compensated in the drinks. I had the lamb chops which were a bit fat but very tasty. Great service, nice atmosphere, varied menu and large portions. Although we didn't like the vegetarian risotto and the pizza Verde (note the olives pits), the chicken fillet (kid's menu), pizza Margarita and the trio dessert were great. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €10–20

Please read this especially if you stay at Landal de Aalderholt. We ordered a pizza online, expecting 2 warm pizzas to be delivered at our door at around 18:30u. Unfortunately, Landal does not allow deliveries beyond the park gates (as this obviously brings the revenue of their own restaurants down). The pizzas arrived a little late and we were forced to collect them at the park gates (by car), but after having had contact with the friendly restaurant owner over the phone, our complaint was directly resolved in a satisfactory manner. Our advice; if you stay at Landal and your bundalow is not near the park entrance, just pick up your order at the restaurant. Time-wise there's little difference from having your order delivered. The quality of the food is top-notch and doesn't deserve this hassle.

Friendly smile from waitress and then immediately reminded by owner that we must be finished our meal by 7p.m. Not the most welcoming start...... Food was tasty and waitress efficient and very pleasant. When asked if we would like a sweet or coffee, the grumpy owner then barked at us that.....we only had time for a sweet or a coffee. She was clearly not handling the pressure of answering two phones at once and was unable to portray a friendly welcome to her guests. We may go back......when she is off duty !

Delicious pizza. Thin bottom with a crispy crost. You can choose over a list of 99 pizza's or so what. Very good service also ! I loved it here !

Quite nice restaurant with excellent service. We have had soup, carpaccio and pizza. Everything tasted very good - also the prices were quite OK - we recommend this restaurant - and if we will be back in Meppen/NL we will join another dinner here!
