Wonderful pies! Cash only. No dine in area and you're limited to what hasn't sold out at walk in. It's all delicious though. The older owner is a grump, but everyone else is great. Pies are expensive here there's no doubt, but we bought a grape pie from them that was incredibly delicious. I've tried a few grape pies in the region and none compared in taste or perfect crust to the one I bought here! We'll be back again!

Great pies! Just bought their strawberry pie. It's pretty good! Freshly made. Just come prepared. It's cash or check only and if your looking for something specific then call and order ahead. It's literally a tiny hallway to pick up pie orders. They have some already made but selection is limited. Still totally worth it! I was not local and just sorta stopped in. Glad I did!

Best pie on the planet! Be sure to order ahead to ensure you get the flavor you want. They were featured on PBS a couple years back as an amazing pie place! You will be ruined for other pies, they just won't compare!

We've never had any complaints with Portage all the times that we have come and or put orders in a head of time. We ordered a specific pie today. Got it home and cut it to eat and it was so tart that it physically made tongues hurt from the tartness of the berries. We added sugar to the top of the pie just to cut the tartness but every time we've ordered this pie we have never had this problem. We're not unhappy with the service and or the bake of the pie. Just not up to par this go around and very hard to eat which makes us not feel that it was worth our money that we spent on it.
