My wife and I visited Porter Jacks for our Valentine’s Day dinner and was extremely disappointed. The atmosphere had that good ole “sweet” southern hospitality but with a dash of prejudice. After being seated in an odd section of the restaurant, we were offered drinks, in which we both opted for the strawberry lemonade. The lemonade tasted like they just mixed frozen strawberries with water and forgot the lemon….so we got water with lemon instead. We were then ready to order our food and decided on steak. To our surprise, the menu on their website is 5 years old, as per Chloe(waitress), and the steaks are now at “market price”…which is ridiculously expensive. After seeing the quality of food that others were getting, we decided to just get some Mexican food. That was the best decision we could’ve made. We’re not from here, so maybe this is what Manning calls “fine dining”, but where we’re from, this is subpar. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
