Puzukan Tan Korean Grill has just become our new favorite Korean restaurant in the Washington DC area. From the moment you step through the doors, you are greeted with an atmosphere brimming with excitement and authenticity.
What sets Puzukan Tan apart is the quality of its meats, and its innovative take on traditional Korean BBQ. The appetizer “Banchan” boasts offerings like steamed egg with scallion, glass noodles and corn with mozzarella, adding a delightful twist to the classic dishes. The BBQ meats were a cut above other restaurants in the area. And the green tea ice cream was yummy - but next time we will request it without chocolate sauce-:)
One cannot help but appreciate the attention to detail, from the cold ice water pitchers left on every table, to the engaging performances by Korean waiters as they cook.
The true star of the show is the marinated King Galbi, a dish that left us all speechless! What. A. Treat!
Cooked on the bone and then expertly butterflied at our table, the succulent flavors of the Galbi melted in our mouths, leaving us craving more. It is undoubtedly one of the best Korean dishes I've ever had outside of Korea, a true testament to the culinary mastery of Puzukan Tan.
The restaurant can get a bit noisy - - but the bustling atmosphere, filled with Koreans and Korean-Americans, is a clear indication of the restaurant's excellence.
If you're looking for an authentic and memorable Korean dining experience in Washington DC, look no further than Puzukan Tan Korean Grill.

I visit the area occasionally and don't care to dine in. They added order online / take out recently I think. I got it twice for dinner in a few days. Excellent food. I feel like the rice is a good measure of a restaurant and I especially enjoy their rice - it is a simple item frequently overlooked. Can't wait to come back and continue to try the menu. Thanks
