My brother and I were traveling south and exited I-95 in Lumberton, N.C. for lunch. We found Red's by looking for a luncheon BBQ place. What we found was the ultimate BBQ and Smash (ground beef) sandwich. Holy cow! What a tasty, filling sandwich. Hot, crispy crinkle fries accompanied the two-handed sandwich. Today was my first visit there and it won't be the last. Had the hog heaven, carolina smash, and a couple of hotdogs for my family for supper. Y'all...this spot is the real deal if you want some tasty, lip smacking, filling food in an atmosphere that makes you feel at home. I'm so happy I finally tried these smashed burgers. This place has the best food you can get in Lumberton! I've gotten a cheese steak in 42 different states and theirs is in my top 3 best for sure. Burgers are great, BBQ sandwich was different from any I've ever had, but in a good way. Help get their name out there, people should know about this place! Stopped in just to see what they had as I was craving a burger. Was greeted by friendly folks that made me feel welcomed. Had the best burger I have found in town and delicious fries. Awesome new restaurant in the area. Everyone was friendly. The food was fantastic. I ordered the cheesesteak and my partner ordered the Carolina style burger. Everything was good. We were given a sample of the beef and gravy and the beef was so tender. I will definitely be back. They also have a food truck which the business started out as. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

10/10, would highly recommend! Red and Marshall are the sweetest people. They make the best food in town, probably in North Carolina. Very humble people and very peaceful atmosphere. Try the farm house burger and the steak wraps if you need a recommendation! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Good food, good service. I ordered a Carolina style hamburger with French fries and got a plate with beef gravy rice, and side of okra to go. My friend got the steak and cheese sub, everything was real good.

The food is incredible! And the service was very good as well. Ive never had collards at a restaurant that tasted so good and homemade. The environment was very friendly. The whole experience felt very much like eating at a family members house.
