Redstone has a fancy aesthetic, and that is all. From the stone cold greeting at the door and look of absolute confusion when telling the three hosts standing there, we have a reservation. To waitstaff, that seemed less than thrilled to be there. This is the second time I have had a steak here, and this time was no different from the last. Overcooked, under seasoned, and somehow tough and chewy being a Filet cut. The asparagus had a funky charred weird taste to it, also chewy plus a bonus weird piece of what I hope is burnt asparagus mixed in. I didn't take a bite to find out. Pic below. The mashed potatoes were decent, but even the drinks we ordered were lame. My neice ordered a hot chocolate, she's said it was overpriced Swiss miss and water, and she's 11. I ordered what I thought was a fancy $7+ coffee, and the waitress brought a can of cold press you can get at any gas station. So, two filets with no add-ons, that were C- if I'm being kind, calamari/shrimp app. One Swiss miss, one can of coffee, $170. But hey, my 11-year-old niece thought it was good. The food was good, and other people's food was either too dry or too overcooked. Slow service, had to keep asking different waiters for water/soda refills since ours kept forgetting to check on us. Went on Saturday afternoon around 3pm. They had really good options for a lunch menu. They weren't super busy at the time. Unfortunately the poor bartender was responsible for all the drinks and food. He worked his butt off trying to keep up. The food and atmosphere was amazing. Sadly this caused the service to be sub par. I would definitely go back, however the lower rating was due to staffing. Had the Thai Noodles and they were amazing. Not as spicy as I was hoping but still delicious. The place is great and the service was fast and amazing. We had a big group of 11, too. A welcoming atmosphere when you walked in. Reservation acknowledged and seated immediately. Met our server ‘Sam’ and so began a lovely experience. Questions asked were immediately answered and decisions made. We ordered beverages and had time to visit before a perfect (2) meals were served. M/rare prime rib. It melted in our mouths. Food was good but not five star. I had a chicken salad thing that I really didn't care for. A bit difficult to get to now with the light rail cutting across the parking lot. Dec 2023: Visited again, my review still stands. I had the shrimp and corn chowder which was ok. The bloody Mary I had was just ok. My drink was $14 and the rotisserie chicken was $25! Not super impressed. The caesar salad was dry. Look at the photo. It was just lettuce with cheese on top at $9! What a waste of money. The salmon was a bit overcooked. I grew up in Seattle, I know my salmon. You overcooked it. Will reluctantly return in hopes of better food. Waiter was friendly and I loved the coziness (atmosphere) of the restaurant. RedStone hosted our wedding reception dinner on June 9, 2023. Ryan the manager made the entire experience which would normally be very stressful so seamless and easy. He held my hand through the entire process. The waitstaff was unbelievable. They kept everyone happy while not getting in the way. The food was phenomenal and the price for what we got was exceptional. The atmosphere was perfect and our photos with guest turned out great. Just the right amount of lighting in the private dining room. We were so happy with the experience, my husband tipped the waitstaff an extra $200.
