From the moment I walked in, Kevin greeted me with a warm smile and a genuine eagerness to assist. Not only was Kevin knowledgeable, but he also went above and beyond to ensure that I found exactly what I was looking for. UPDATED: Dinner this weekend at Restaurant Alba in Malvern. Really great food and service (Lily!!). Loved the grilled octopus with crispy potato and pickled onions! The rigatoni all' Amatriciana was super flavorful and maybe ever so slightly undercooked. My grilled trout was phenomenal with the hazelnuts brown butter, salad, and shaved cauliflower. Best I have ever had. Finished with a salted caramel budino and a cappuccino! Really great stuff! Always a favorite in Malvern!!! Service is excellent and they have a small but mighty menu with primarily Italian offerings. Very good Italian restaurant accompanied with very good service. The menu is updated seasonally and offers a wide variety of choices. The brussel sprouts appetizer is very tasty and cooked to perfection. The salads are nicely crafted and have the right amount of dressing. Food wasn't the best and it's not good value for what you get. It is very noisy. I ate at Alba years ago and boycotted it because of a bad experience. This time round was still not a good experience.
