Good local food option in the Centre. English menu and wasn’t particularly difficult to order takeaway. Food was good. Chicken streak and chicken kebab with a small side salad. First of all, the menu is very complicated, its hard to choose. I ate Chicken parmesan. Chicken is very tough but the sauce is delicious. Prices are cheap, portion is big. Nostalgic place. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The Belvedere is a solid Eatery. Nothing too fancy, but everything is good and fresh. Lots of tables. Interesting decor. Really flavorful meat and soft squishy bread with creamed garlic. The waiters were all really helpful as well and the prices were not too bad. As a brief epilogue, I returned the following morning in hopes of having a breakfast of vegetable soup and dumplings....but they had not prepared any. I've never been in a country in which so many seemingly basic items are on the menu, yet unavailable. I wonder why that is? On top of that, there were people openly smoking in the restaurant. Not outside, but in the interior of the restaurant so that everybody had to breathe their smoke. It was at that point that this restaurant lost my business for at least a very long time. This place is not the quality as it was years before. No reason to go here until they find back to what they were 4 years ago with good food, atmosphere, and professional staff. We ordered a sofra (daska of meze), rebro and kebab. The sofra and rebro came immediately, for the kebab we had to wait more than an hour and remind them 3 times. We ordered a wine Muscat Blanc from Manastir winery (excellent, recommended), the price was given with 1100 MKD in the menu (see photo), appeared on the bill with 1400 MKD (see photo). The waiter said it is not his fault, we should address this to the owner (not present). If you really decide to go here, be cautious, ask twice for the price before you order and don’t accept such business behaviour. Meatballs (pleskavitse etc.) are good, first of all. We tried the "Shopska" salad. It was delicious but not unique. Similar to the shepherd's salad in Turkey. Tomato cucumber onion inside; It also has cheese on it. Taratur is also nice but the same tzatziki. We tried the home made sausage, it was also bland. We asked for dessert, they forgot. Too loud, too crowded for food and poor service. The restaurant consists of several sections and the number of employees is not enough. We were recommended to come here by a local and boy it does not disappoint! we were seated, ordered and fed within 1 hour! This works well for our young family! The food has all of the local cuisine and it was all so tasty! I especially loved the fried eggplant and tomatoes, the sheep and cow cheese stuffed peppers, the fried cheese and the burgers which weren't really burgers, they were these tasty cheesey beef patties. no one left hungry. it was all very reasonably priced, approx 35€! Our group thoroughly enjoyed the food at the Belvedere - so much so that we dined there twice in the same day - for lunch and dinner. The restaurant was somewhat busy both times but we were seated and served promptly. The wait staff were very friendly. Our server at dinner brought my friend and I large sundaes when we couldn’t decide on which flavor gelato 🍧 to have as our dessert 😀. The decor is unusual- filled with antique pieces which we understood the owner collected from various parts of the regions. The location of the restaurant is great and close to lots of activity along waterfront.
