This place pretends to be "luxury", but poor service ruins these attempts. The waiters avoided answering questions about meal, forgot to bring coffee, and didn't provide any information about alcohol-free drinks (the answer was "the standard set of drinks", so we needed to play the game "guess what we have"). We ordered the limbrug zuurvlees with extra veggies. Part of the extra veggies was peas, green beans and baby carrots. You could clearly see and taste that they were stale. Made not from fresh vegetables, but frozen ones. The rest of the vegetables were also not tasty. I also found that sauce of the zuurvlees tastes mostly like barbeque sauce, didnt seem like a lot of preparation went into. The best part of the food was the fries.

This place was nothing short of amazing. We had steak and scampi and the dessert with chocolate mousse. Especially The Scampi and the vegetables were great. The quality of the food was sky high. There was enough to get full. The service was excellent.

Excellent! We ate frog legs, deer carpaccio as starters and deer steak and jugged game as main dish. The dishes were thoughtful and cooked to excellence. The staff is attentive and they speak english. Prices are absolutely justified, and portion sizes are more than adequate. I recommend Restaurant de Munt. If you have some time to savor the good things in life, don't miss out on this place.

Clean restrooms, friendly people, and a lot to choose from. However, I've only have had need for the delicious poffertjes and great milkshakes. You can try the proper meals if you wish, but it's worthwhile to have a treat afterwards if you can.

Had a truly delicious meal at the De Munt restaurant yesterday evening, everything was cooked to perfection and there was plenty of it! Vegetables came in a separate dish and there were five different vegetables offered, a small mixed salad was also provided. The desserts were to die for, spoilt for choice again! The staff were very friendly and helpful, the ones we spoke to spoke English very well so there was no problem with ordering, when we were greeted upon arriving it was acknowledged we were British and the appropriate menu, in English was given to us. Would I eat there again? Most definitely!!
