Caesar salad was great, burger was undercooked (raw in the middle). Waiter took away 2 plates but didn't come back for the other 2. Didn't ask if we wanted desserts. We enjoyed a lovely early dinner on a rainy afternoon They got busy, so it's probably wise to make a reservation for this delightful Parkside location with excellent tournedos and drinks in beautiful Haarlem.

In one word: reliable. Open every day at (almost) any time, both the interior and the terrace are very nice and there are never bad surprises. The menu could use a twist, as after going a few times it can be a bit repetitive. They would do the job just by adding a dish of the week/month. We came for dinner with great expectations. We ordered the carpaccio and the salmon fillet as main course. After 25 min of wait, the waitress came to table telling us there is no more salmon left and that we need to order a different dish. No complimentary gesture was even offered. A sad dinner it was. At least the terrace was nice.

Great location with outside seating. The service was very slow even though it was not crowded. The avocado on the smashed avocado sandwich was on the hard/unripe side but otherwise it was very tasty with a perfectly poached egg.
