We visited the restaurant with high hopes due to its promising setting and commendable service, and a fond memory from past experiences. However, I must admit that the food was truly excruciatingly disappointing. Firstly, the so-called "Cesar" salad was a far cry from what one would expect. There was not a hint of Parmesan cheese, no trace of the classic dressing, and to make matters worse, it contained additional ingredients that had no place in a Cesar salad. The other salad that we ordered used to come with a sauce which this time was devoid of it entirely. Despite requesting more sauce, the meager amount provided was still insufficient. Moving on to the main course, the meat was disappointingly chewy and far from fresh, with a side of almost raw potatoes. It was nearly inedible, resulting in a significant portion left untouched on the plates. The pasta, on the other hand, was excessively salted and overly oily, making it a rather unpleasant experience. Dessert was no exception to the disappointment. The tiramisu lacked any trace of mascarpone, depriving it of a key element. Similarly, the panna cotta lacked sugar, leaving a rather bland impression. However, the worst of all was the bruschetta. It was served on regular store-bought bread, stacked haphazardly on top of each other. The tomatoes were poorly distributed, with some pieces barely receiving any tomatoes at all. Overall, while the restaurant has an appealing atmosphere and provided commendable service, the culinary experience fell far short of expectations, with none of the dishes prepared well.
