I'm not entirely sure why this restaurant is so popular. Although it offers simple and traditional cuisine, I found its prices to be higher compared to similar restaurants I've visited in Skopje. I decided to try a variety of dishes recommended by the waiter, and while some were enjoyable, others were merely okay. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, reflecting the warmth of Macedonian hospitality. I started with the Caesar salad, which was fresh, crisp, and perfectly dressed, setting the tone for the culinary journey ahead. Next up were the deep-fried oyster mushrooms, a true delight! Crispy on the outside, yet tender and flavorful on the inside, they were a unique and delicious twist on a classic appetizer. For the main course, I indulged in the traditional four cheese pide and traditional shashlik, both of which were absolute winners. The pide was a savory sensation, with a perfectly baked crust and a generous topping of gooey, melted cheese. The shashlik was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, bursting with authentic flavors that transported me straight to the heart of Macedonia. Our bus arrived late from Bulgaria and Saturday evening there was no chance to find a typical restaurant with livemusic. Even here the restaurant was so full. The boss was so friendly and managed 6 places for us in short time. We had a great evening with delicious home-made food, cool wines and really great music.
