Was fortunate enough to go on a slow day Maybe 10 people in the resturaunt, beautiful view by the windows overlooking the Vista. Ordered an Arnold palmer, pork tatchos, Hawaiian burger and the honey had a 'shroom burger, both medium well, one with fries one with sweet potato waffle fries. Took 2 minutes to get order taken after seating 10 minutes for appetizer and then another 10 for entrees Added two sugar packs to the Arnold palmer. The pork tatchos were amazing, if they doubled the portion it could have been an entree. The tots were hot, freshly baked, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the pork on it was straight off a homemade pulled pork sandwhich,and a healthy portion was given too. The fries were equally as fresh, also seasoned well, but cardiologists be damned I still salted them. The burgers both were cooked perfectly, the buns well toasted and light in the middles. Almost like they just came out of the oven. The Hawaiilian burger was so good I ate it in under 4 minutes, the 'shroom burger was savory and equally as good. Took maybe 25 minutes to get the check after we were ready, which was the only negative, but our waitress was the only bar tender and we were sitting in a corner. She was very nice regardless. I don't review stuff often... but I am a penns peak fan and I signed up for the email list to stay updated at penns peak and roadies. I go in to the restaurant and ask the waitress about any specials... she says they have ribs and a blueberry dessert. I asked how long these specials were running and she said a few weeks. I asked her why there have been no posts or emails and she said that penns peak controls that and they have no control over the Facebook. I have been waiting for a long time for updates on the restaurant but it is crickets. Even if you sign up to recieve updates through email it is still a struggle to stay updated. There still has been no mention of ribs or specials anywhere online or email... Whoever is in charge of your sales and marketing team needs to be fired or reevaluated... I take the measures to stay updated yet I still struggle. I will be rating 1 star until this is fixed. Update I went back to see if it was fixed but they had even more specials unadvertised outside of the restaurant… sizzling chicken and steak fajitas, steak, ribs, shrimp, and even a soup and salad combo. It was really busy this night but because there was a show on the concert side. Still no advertisement though this is ridiculous. Other than that the service and food are always great. Their media management just sucks. Recommended dishes Hawaiian Sandwich
