Very nice place with a big terrace outside next to the market square. The flavour of the cappuccino (3.50 EUR) is great. The milk was steamed too hot though and I was missing a thick layer of micro foam. You get a cookie and a small cup of whipped cream with a syrup at the bottom. Both delicious and a nice addition! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5 stars for Romy's Kitchen! Had a yummy brunch with a mix of sweet and savory treats. Kids went for sweets 🍭, while we opted for real food 🍔🥗. I had a spicy 🔥 sandwich bursting with flavor, and the wife enjoyed a chicken salad 🥗. Our son's avocado toast became a hit, and the French toast and pancakes 🥞 were pure kid joy! Located just a bit down of the main tourist promenade, but right in the centre of volendam. Good coffee. Excellent breakfast with all you dream of on one plate. The bacon was not for me as a vegetarian, but I understood from my partner that it was very tasty. Friendly staff. Busy at a market day, so the second coffee took a while. Overall highly recommended. We stopped here for a bite to eat for breakfast in Volendam. Worth a visit, the food was great and they were good portion sizes. Good price too, seemed very reasonable. My only comment would be that they seemed stretched on stuff, though I do believe it was a bank holiday. Would recommend Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

This is a lovely place with many locals. The location is ideal, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is very nice. They are dog-friendly ++ and the service is attentive. The food is fresh, everything is made to order, and it is delicious. If you have the opportunity, go there for brunch or an afternoon snack. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch

We stopped by to check out the place and we were blown away how the food were beautifully plated and tasted so good too! Staff are also very accommodating and friendly. Nice little restaurant on the market square, away from the harbor tourist crowds. They have a huge sunny terrace, at least 4 times as big as the restaurant itself. Dishes are tasty, they have vegetarian breakfast and lunch options, and they put great effort into making everything look nice as well. Healthy green smoothies. Great coffee from Bocca. Decaf and oat milk no problem. If you're in Volendam, this is one of the better places to grab a bite. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €10–20
