Sakura is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Most visitors suppose that the dishes have fair prices. This place doesn't deserve 1 star. We ordered two entrees and one roll. Our entrees came 40 minutes later. The steak was over cooked and the food was cold. Not warm but cold. Like it was just taken out of the refrigerator. When we told the waitress she just shrugged her shoulders and walked off. After and hour and a half we still had not received our roll. We finally canceled the roll. Our ticket was $91 for 2 cold entrees, a beer and saki. We took our concerns to the manger and he said they were short a dishwasher! What that had to do with our food and waitress is beyond me. We will NEVER return to this establishment and I guess have to travel to Albuquerque to get good sushi. I definitely want to come back again. As you can see in my picture, I got the lo mein which is delicious. My husband ordered the orange chicken and he was fairly disappointed that the orange chicken was 80% breading and 20% chicken. Nonetheless it was very tasty. The spring rolls were really good as well. What’s not pictured was the California roll I ordered. It didn’t taste as fresh as you’d like for sushi in Los Lunas. The sushi id have to give a 2/5 stars alone. Definitely want to come back and try something else and everything did taste very good (except the California roll). When we go into the restaurant to eat it is amazing! But if we get take out. It's like they don't know what they are doing. This is the second time I have ordered takeout and they messed up our food. The first time was an Allergy that I made sure I put on the ticket was given to me us anyway. And today they are telling me that the 2 different dished we ordered are the same just one has sesame and one has a tiny but of spicy taste. That was not how it was every other time we ordered these meals. These are our favorite dishes from here. But it seems like we can only get good food if we go in to eat. When I called she said that the dishes were the same. Which I don't believe since the last time we ordered them they tasted different. I really like the restaurant WHEN WE GO IN TO EAT but the takeout part is ridiculous. Then they put cucumber in place of broccoli in our dishes. When I called she said "oh yeah we are out." But there is broccoli in one of our other dishes. I feel like they are just being lazy. That is a shame bc I truly love eating here.
