This was the wort meal I've ever experienced I took my Mama out for her birthday dinner we waited only 20 mins to be seated we sat there almost 2 hours before we received our meals there were people that came in after us that received their meal before us and were half way finished eating, when we did get our meal everything was burnt my mom's crab cakes were burnt, my sons chicken nuggets were so over cook he couldn't eat them and they gave us Mac and zini noodles for Mac and Cheese, big old noodles that were nasty and gummy, the burnt my hamburger stake and when I say they burnt it it was chared black, and they covered it with gravy I guess they were thinking I wouldn't notice. It was all ruined, and I was angry because it was supposed to be a nice birthday dinner for my Mama's 78 th I don't think we'll be going back there unless they get people that enjoy their job and someone who knows how to cook. My daughter, 4 yr old gr.andson and I went in for dinner. After a 20 minute waitl were seated but it was was another 2 hours before we got food. The people at the next table came in after us and their order was taken after ours but they received their food long before we did. We asked for lemons for our tea 4 times before we got them. My salad was drowned in dressing. The rolls were flat Our food still had not come and it was almost time to close. We asked for go boxes. We planned to eat some and pack the rest. Our waitress brought our food already packed up. We opened it to eat some. My crab cakes were burnt, no baked sweet potato, my dsughters' hamburger steak was burnt black and un edible. My grandsons' chicken nuggets were thin and dry also unediable. They did give us a deep discount but I still wound up paying $20.00. They responded without making excuses, however. I believe that the best time to visit this restaurant is after lunch time, 2:00 pm. My party of 4 arrived after 12 noon. The wait was near 30 minutes. Our order arrived over 1.5 hours later. It was a birthday lunch so we did not leave. The server was great but seemed overwhelmed. The food was good but not outstanding. This was my second time coming here. I won't return. This is one of Mccomb's best kept secrets, my husband and I went there for lunch, food was delicious and reasonably priced. Worst experience ever…been waiting at table hour and 30 minutes….no straws for tea…rolls are burnt …food horrible , service even worst …never again… The quality has went to hell in. Hand-basket.
