Wonderful and delicious place for KBBQ!! They use real coals at each table and you cook it yourself. Meats and seafoods are super fresh and noodles and soups are so delicious! Service was fast and super friendly! Come for a great meal!

A nice place to treat oneself. The quality of the food was good, though the flavor of the garlic black pepper pork belly was lacking. Needed a reservation to be seated. Service was lovely, and the waiters were very attentive, quickly jumping in to help with the grilling as well as changing of the grills.

We had a great time eating here and will be back.
It is a bit pricey but K-bbq is pricey everywhere in the Bay Area. The service was very quick despite being busy and they always cleaned our table.
Ignore the reviews of it being smokey. Do people realize you're cooking your own food over wood charcoal? Yes, sometimes the smoke gets in your face but that's totally normal. We had no issues and barely smelled like smoke as we left. It's part of the experience of cooking with charcoal. If you don't want to cook your own food or deal with smoke, maybe this place isn't for you? Food tastes the best when cooked over charcoal. :)
All of the food is good. We liked the banchan. We wouldn't hesitate coming back here.
It was $45 per person and we were full after the first order. While it is AYCE, we stopped eating.
They play K-Pop here so that's fun too!

Located in a nondescript place 2 miles south of Tanforan mall, Seoul Kalbi Korean BBQ is a delightful hidden gem that won't disappoint. If you are craving authentic Korean BBQ and are in the San Bruno area, definitely stop by. We were promptly seated at a long table with large ceiling vents and a center grill pit which gets filled with fresh charcoal for much tastier grill items. We were very impressed with the high quality of meats, everything was fresh (not frozen). Tried the wagyu rib cap, bulgogi chicken and beef, and brisket and all were great. The standout pick: beef bulgogi. So flavorful, juicy and perfectly balanced sweet/salty/smokiness. Their $45 all-you-can-eat offering is a bit overwhelming so you may risk eating until you're as full as a guppy. Know your limit, else they charge $10 for unfinished plates. Small nits: our charcoal wasn't hot enough and didn't flare up so we needed to ask for more. Also, as a souvenir, prepare to smell like the charcoal grill after your meal, so wear your least favorite clothes--this isn't a fashion show anyway! tl:dr, SK is great KBBQ and we can't wait to come back!

SK Korean BBQ is a great KBBQ experience. Below are a couple key things to prepare for before showing up.
1. You need to have a reservation. Place is small and walking in will be very tough.
2, Don't wear nice clothes. You will smell like smoke not food.
3. Show up early because there is only street parking.
4. Remember this is an authentic Korean BBQ experience. You will be cooking with charcoal not gas, so your meat will have a strong smoke flavor. Also, you will have to watch your meat, because the meat cooks at different times.
5. Recommended meats: - Bulgogi - Wagyu Rib Meat - Wagyu Brisket - Spicy Pork Belly
Finally, one negative is that the Kimchi is so SALTY!

very mediocre meat quality, in line with the cheapest in the bay $20 places. charcoal does add a bit to the flavor though, and only some of the cuts were terrible, others were just ok. sides are ok, nothing special
