First time visiting this restaurant. The food is delicious, with sauces that have a unique taste unlike any I've had elsewhere. The fries are also unique and tasty. Limp, flavorless lettuce. Tasted and felt like it was pulled off a roomtemp shelf. Overcooked floppy grilled onions. Grainy french fries. Burger was so greasy i needed 2 napkins for every bite of the burger. Buns soaked up so much grease they were more limp than the wilted old lettuce. Milkshake was decent enough, not better than anything i could make at home for 1/10th the price though. The food may be a bit heavy, but it hits where it counts. The cheesesteak was on a delicious warm and toasted bun with the perfect amount of cheese gluing all the meat together as it should. The side salad with ranch was delightfully presented with a heterogeneic crunch in every bite. The employees seemed upbeat and happy and were quick to cook and serve our order alongside quite a few takeout orders. Certainly one of the best greasy spoons from Florence to Lincoln City. For a hole in the wall the quality is fantastic, I tried the pimento burger with beef, also ordered a side of fries and a shake. The burger alone I would have to rate as the best on the coast and the shakes are the real deal.... Given you can see the cooking area and food station as a former chef for many years I had to take a glance, The Kitchen is spotless and the prep station is impeccable with fresh cut produce on the line.. Kennedy was at the counter and just a joy to chat with... If you are in Waldport and looking for a quick delicious bite to eat look no further than Skosh.
