Even though we were told they were shorthanded, you'd never have known. Food was hot and brought to our table in under 10 minutes. Great experience. Will eat here again if in the area. I mean, would you call this Buffalo mac bowl. Nope. No Buffalo in sight. And 1 didn't even have cheese topping, chives or onions, and it was half full. Rating a 3 because I like taste of the place. But really wise to check the order before you leave the drive thru Food: 2 Service: 2

Slim Chickens is AMAZING! Their food is fresh and delicious (don’t even get me started on the incredible jar desserts!) and their staff is incredibly helpful and kind. I was feeding my daughter the kids chicken tenders. I noticed the chicken pieces had some red color residue on them and realized it is the paint from the wax paper rubbing off onto the food. I went upfront and brought it to their attention and let them know they should flip the paper around and put the food on the blank side of the paper. They said “oh ok”. A while later I noticed they are still sending the food out on the red color side of the wax paper. Won’t be eating here again as I don’t want my kid’s food to be contaminated with paint. What a special surprise! Chicken and waffles in a quick serve restaurant! They even had sugar-free syrup for me which was outstanding. Great variety of menu, I’ve been here twice now and the food quality is pretty good I’ll be back!
