Im gonna be honest, as a southern boy, Im PICKY about the bbq I eat. Not all meat called bbq is worth eating. Also, being in Maine, i was skeptical. HOWEVER.......Smoke BBQ nailed it!! Everything was 🔥!! Talked with the owner too. He and everyone I interacted with were phenomenal. ok,, i wrote a great review..loved the food and wanted to support the new business! but i called for a take out yesterday....and omg..was accussed that my phone number was not legitimate and they could not take an order! just awful..accused of being a scammer! she said..i have to call the owner to take your order as you are not legitimate! OMG ...I lived in a second home 24 years..and to accused of scamming .. so she called back...and said ..the owner said yes..to take my order but!!! needed a credit card... lol..so a crimimal can call but secure with a credit card ! i cancelled the order and will never be back! went to a more expensive bbq and was accepted as a good customer! never have i ever experienced..lol..not great food..but would have ordered this issue was successfully resolved ..thanks to the owner of the restaurant. I had not seen his response and reacted with a negative review! but again..the owner was very responsive and i now give 5 stars !!! outstanding food and great service !!! thank you Josh! ordered and the food was outstanding!! We stopped here for lunch after sightseeing in Kennebunkport. The staff was on their game and very friendly. The food was great! I had the Smashburger and fries (delicious!) and locally made root beer, and my husband had the double meat with fries. Portions size was decent. Everything was so delicious and there were no leftovers, lol. I highly recommend if your in the area. Omg this place !!!!!! What a find we will go here at least once anytime we are in Maine for a bit! The wings were amazing as well as the brisket !!! Oh and if you like bloody Mary's ......... this is the best in all of Maine you could put them over raw oysters as sauce !!! Love this place Adam and Jessica Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is the best sandwich I’ve ever had!! From the moment we walked in the door everyone treated us like family, and were very attentive. The owner is in the restaurant and you can tell he really cares about his customers and ensuring everyone receives the best quality food. I can’t wait to go again and make this restaurant my new go to destination when I eat out! I will definitely recommend to all of my friends and will be returning regularly! Terrific food. Fast and varied options but all were very good. Nice portion sizes as well. Atmosphere is fantastic! And service was above what I even expected I have to say just really really great. Easy to get to also for a bonus. Don’t hesitate if you are in the fence. I saw a lot of people doing take out for lunch or early dinner (Maine so I’ll say supper :-) ) as well. Speaking of, the hours are super on point, as so many places today don’t open until 4pm. Go and enjoy! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
