Hands down, one of the most hospitable staffs around in Fredericksburg. It felt a little bit like one of the locals secret hangout places. Great casual dining in an old house just off Main. Big public parking lot right across the street. The food was great. We had 3 different types of pizza, including BBQ chicken, a small is definitely big enough for 2 people to share. The BBQ chicken was great, sauce was sweet, and the crust was crispy! The sandwich and salads were also good. The panini bread was excellent! And the Bloody Mary was delicious! Spicy, but not too spicy, perfectly seasoned, you didn't even taste the alcohol. A local recommended this place to us & it was a great recommendation! My chicken & artichoke sandwich was very good! We also got the goat cheese & garlic appetizer & it was yummy too! Highly recommend! I think our waitress got busy & forgot about us, but there was another one to pick up the slack. First time to try Sozial Haus. They did not disappoint! My husband had the meat lovers pizza and I had the chicken salad sandwich. Both were delicious! Fast and friendly take out service. Parking can be an issue on busy days but I parked in the public lot across the street with no problems. We will definitely eat here again and recommend to my wine customers and friends! Delicious pizza! Lots of topping options. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. They are down a side street from main, so they get foot traffic but aren't in the thick of things, which can be nice. It was a nice way to finish the day.
