I came early morning at opening time and there was already a line forming I can’t imagine how noon time is but it was not bad at all. The food is good and the quantity is just perfect to keep you full. It’s on the pricey side but there is quality in the food. Will come back again! Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Made a stop here while travelling along route 1 to try the famous clam chowder. While the atmosphere here is kitschy in a fun way, it didn't make up for the chowder. Hopefully it was a one off, but I found the clams lacking and overcooked/rubbery. If you're parking nearby, pay your meter - the parking police are hawks. This is obviously a super popular spot. This place is known for award winning clam chowder. I can’t recall if I have ever even had clam chowder but here oh my goodness. They serve it in a nice toasted bread bowl. Even though there was a huge line out the door the line ends up moving a lot faster than you would expect. Definitely will be eating here again. They had several other things in the menu also but the clam chowder is what they are known for!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Stopped in for lunch at Splash Cafe today - more sizzle than steak, I think. I had clam chowder in a bread bowl, and while the chowder was really good, it was also very salty and lacking clams. My spouse had the Ahi tuna tacos. She was assured they are dairy and gluten free (without ranch dressing), but she’s been in the bathroom for 20 minutes since leaving the place… Staff seem young and not invested.
