Cosy atmosphere in autumn, great and attentive service. We were welcomed by gracious hosts, and the food was delicious and very well priced. Loved my visit here, and will certainly come back Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Amazingly crisp fish and chips, really quick service! Amazing location obviously. Too bad i noticed really late they had soup of the day and catch of the day on offer! Something for another time maybe Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We really enjoyed food and easy-going service. Nice beer selection. Mussels “natur” were very good! I really liked the fact that the straw was bio degradable (refer the video). Staff friendly and helpful. One star deduction because we were waiting quite a while for the dishes to be cleaned up. It might be because they were changing the shifts and our waiter changed. The restaurant is beautifully situated right on the beach. So ideal for a small snack in between! Also well attended during the week. So bring some waiting time - although we didn't really wait long! Quite a large selection of dishes for large and small appetites. Great service and fair prices for a restaurant right on the beach! Definitely recommend the sweet potato fries! The steak sandwich was also very tasty - just maybe a little too much sauce. The boss booked this up for our slow return journey back to the UK. I have to admit what a beautiful journey it’s been, this restaurant is amongst the dunes and on the shoreline. But another real winning ingredient and welcome is for the fact they allow dogs….What a great service and Gluten Free options. What’s not to like, if your wishing for a ambience of Dutch seaside and with some class, then I’d recommend Strand Loods Tien. Pt2 update: So we stayed in Hoofdplatt and we visited this restaurant 4 times now. To some that may be perceived as a limited imagination…but the place is great. Gluten free options, great food that aren’t coeliac and superb service. Our last night and not disappointed.

Lovely restaurant on the beach. A separate gluten free menu is on offer & very dog friendly. You can book a table if you want to eat inside the restaurant but the outside tables you don’t have to book. Dogs are welcome both inside & out.
