WOW!! Street Tacos Al Vapor recently popped up near us, on Lake Mead & Rampart, so we had to give them a try and we are glad we did! Shout out to ELIZABETH and FERNANDO who were both incredibly friendly and kind! We had the quesabirria with consome, chicken tacos and the horchata. Everything was delicious! Definitely coming back! Good food!!! Love the way they serve their tortillas like they do in Mexico and not just warm them like the rest of the taco shops in America... The only thing that I didn't like was the chunks on cabesa... I'm used to getting it more cut up or even shredded... I love the drive-through... The quesabirria tacos are beyond amazing and authentic. We happened upon this food truck while visiting Vegas and had to go back 2 more times before we left. I even used the leftover chopped up tacos with both their hot sauces and the sauce that comes with the tacos for breakfast with eggs the next morning. I drive all the way down to Cactus just to get these tacos! They are the best tacos in town and have so much flavor! Also the convenience of being able to wait in my car is great. The customer service and fastness of the service is unbeatable. You’d be missing out if you didn’t try these tacos at least one time! ALSO GOTTA GET THE DIP JUICE! Their menu confused me at first but then I saw the clientele. It's diverse. There are folks that come for the lengua and cabeza, then there's the folks that come for the carne asada and pollo. I stuck to the former items along with some items from the birria menu and of course their aguas frescas. All of it was delicious and the kicker is they don't upcharge for lengua. I always see a line of cars when this place is open so I decided to finally give them a try. When I pulled up there were only two cars ahead of me so I didn’t wait too long to get my food. I ordered a quesadilla, quesabirria tacos, and a burrito. The burrito was bomb and the meat was seasoned really good but it was a bit small in my opinion for $10. The quesadilla looked a bit messy once we opened the container when we got home, but my son enjoyed it and finished it all. The tacos were cool but I like crispy tacos so when I bit into it and it was soft I lost interest but that’s just my preference. My husband finished them all so he liked them. Really delicious tacos! Passed by this food truck so many times when they were at their original location, but was too shy to try it. I’m so glad I came out tonight and gave them a chance. Tried their lengua, asada, pollo, and quesabirria tacos, and all are delicious. Prices are relatively affordable, and 3-4 tacos are good enough to satisfy. Then again, the quesabirria is a little larger than the rest, so maybe 2 of those to satisfy. Next time, I’ll order a side of consommé to dip the quesabirria in.
