Popular restaurant right across the Marsaxlokk open market. Interior was simple with many photos of the chef and various celebrities. Please note that Ta’ Victor only has fixed menus and no ala carte dishes. We did not have major issues with the service – it was just direct and professional. The chef came out and talked to all the other tables except us, not sure if it is because he could not speak English?? The 5-course meal was of large portion. The Maltese platter was the most outstanding dish, and our fish dishes were fresh and nicely seasoned. The Gelat tan-Nanna (ice cream) was also something unique. They serve here a set menu that consists of truly Maltese cuisine. In the nearby there are a few beaches which you can visit before or after eating here. Sounds like a perfect day, isn't it? This is a restaurant that serves Maltese traditional food. The restaurant is situated in the church square of Marsaxlokk so there is a lovely atmosphere. The absolute majority of the tables are outside. For a fixed price, you get a Maltese platter, pasta of the day, soup of the day. Next you can choose a main course from a wide variety. Dessert is also included. Victor is very friendly and he is often seen talking to customers when he is not cooking in the kitchen. Waiters are also very friendly. Service is very efficient. Highly recommended. Best to make reservation in advance to avoid disappointment. Ta’ Victor is different than other restaurants in many ways. It’s a genuine Maltese food experience. The food is so tasty and fresh. The waiters, waitresses and cooks are so friendly. I would highly recommend it. Special thanks to Dime the waiter for making our evening even better. Looking forward to visiting here in the future.

It was an amazing traditional course menu in Malta. Professional dish with good service and the most important thing was price. It is really reasonable price compared to quality and portion too :) For each almost €30. From starter - soup - homemade ravioli - 5different kinds of fish (you can choose) or meat :) (I chooses sea bass) - and the last is desert (Ice cream) Highly recommend !!! booking is essential. It was the first time dining at the place, manged to get a table for three. Was served with Maltese food and that was something to die for. Very good food. There is no fixed menu. For 25 euros per person, we had a very good dinner consisting of several dishes. Friendly and helpful service. A good selection of wines at a good price.
