Taberna Euskalduna Restaurant,Bar a Zarautz

Taberna Euskalduna in Zarautz is an excellent spot to stop for a bite or a drink. The selection of wines and pintxos is great and the prices are very reasonable. The service is friendly and attentive, and the locals always seem to be there. On Wednesdays, you can get a drink with a pintxo for only €2 which is an amazing deal. The menu du jour for €14 includes wine and 1/2 bottle of water, and the saturday menu for €20 includes a starter, main, dessert and drinks. The marmitako was delicious, as were the txipi and carrilladas. The desserts are homemade and the carrot cake is especially good. The txakoli is served in full glasses without any holes. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. Overall, Taberna Euskalduna is an excellent spot for a meal or some drinks and pintxos. Highly recommended!
