I just happen to stop for gas at this shell station and as I walked got hit with the most delicious smells ever! I look over at this little open kitchen and see two ladies cooking Mexican food. I had to order and glad I did cause I have been a customer ever since. The steak chimichanga is my go to and there home made hot sauce and guacamole is a must have. First and foremost, I just want to say that I've been searching for good Mexican food in Florida for years, and Tallahassee was the only place that I knew of that had a decent spot (only went there once due to living in Pasco). El Chapo is inside a gas station, which I already knew was going to be good! The young lady that assisted us, was patient and shared some history about the food we were ordering, which was a plus for me. We ordered a Carne Asada Torta, a couple of Burritos, some Chicken Empanadas, and a Churro. You're getting better quality food for their price point, and a nice sized portion might I add. I'm a big guy, and I was only able to eat half my Torta, and snacked on the other half throughout the day lol. Me and my family thoroughly enjoyed the food, and plan on coming back soon. My only complaint is this, I wish we would've gone earlier in the day to try their tamales and the steak empanadas.
