The place is a diamond in the rough. The menu is awesome for a smaller place . The beer is amazing. The service was second to none . They let us sample a few that we ended up buying. 👍 Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I took my husband to the tavern for his birthday since we were visiting Strasburg and he loves a good reuben. He had the reuben and I had the Smash burger. We travel and have dined out a lot from fine dining to food trucks and I can definitely give the Spring House Tavern 5 solid stars! We’ve had Primanti Brother’s and didn’t give them 5 stars… Besides the entree, we enjoyed the pretzels and, of course, beer! The waitress was attentive but not hovering, the bartender checked in on our drinks and the overall atmosphere was clean and comfortable (no sticky floors or crumby tables). I have been here several times and the staff is always super friendly and service time is excellent. The bathrooms were clean and the restaurant area is spotless. Now to the food: The wings, pretzels and smash burgers are my favorites and the best around. I tried a variety of their beers and they are all tasty, and superb. Desserts are standard fare as are the salads, but good. You will not be disappointed! Parking can be tricky in the warmer months as it is all on-street parking and Strasburg can get crowded in tourist season. The dining area can fill up, but there are high tops on the one wall as well as the bar area for seating. Bring a light jacket or sweater if you chill easy; sometimes if you sit by the door, it can get cold in the winter. One of my all-time favorite go-to places. In fact, I am headed there now. Enjoy!
