I was reminiscing today and talking about the time I lived in Pekin Indiana for 6 months.. I'm 44 now and it was around 23-24yrs ago.. I rented a little apartment right across the street from this place.. The guy who owned the apartment also owned the local gas station (Sunoco) The apartment was on the side of an old converted building... They had a tiny little grocery store (Newlons) and a bar next door to the restaurant called the rusty nail or something like that... I went to this place every single day (If its the same one, I can't remember the name) and ordered bosco sticks amongst other things.. They were always so friendly and the food was great.. I met some cool people in this town and I also was a fish out of water... I came from the city and this wasn't that!! haha. Some truly fond memories there. Food: 5 Service: 5

Stopped by here from a hard day at work thinking that a Hoagie BLT would be nice!! Heard and read all kinds of good reviews about this place. Ordered it with fries, for $10.15 The hoagie had 3 pieces of bacon broke in half. One piece of lettuce and one tomato..😞 The fries were burt like they just reheated them up in the old oil in the deep fryer....☢️ In the Halloween spirit I give them a boo.
