Visited with my Dad and we decided on chicken this time instead of steak we usually get. It was delicious! Dad got herb crusted chicken and I got portabella mushroom chicken. Daniel was our server and we sat at table 225 at about 12-12:30pm today. He was great, very friendly and attentive. Steak was nearly raw when I sent it back the first time, got it back n wasn't much better but just took it co sidering my husband was waiting to eat with me. If anything needs improvement, its definitely in the kitchen with the steak cooking.. Other than that the waitress was amazing, manager was nice.. we will be back but maybe I will order sirloin tips next time n make sure to not order medium well.. Ask for well well done.. the macaroni and cheese definitely needs cheese in it instead of just butter.. if u like a creamy Mac n cheese, don't order it here, it will just disappoint.. I've always enjoyed Texas Roadhouse. Good food and better service. Had a minor issue for the first time. I ordered ribs and they came out burnt. I let my server know and they replaced it with no arguing or delay. They apologized for the inconvenience. Exactly what you'd hope for in customer service. This is the best restaurant for the price. Always consistent. Always very good. For the money, you can not get a better steak. You can buy a better steak but the price doubles and the quality will only increase a small amount. The service is always on point and the menu fits all ages. I may just be comparing this to a different one that was outstanding, but everything about our visit was a little off one way or the other. It took forever for our food after we ordered. Waiter was fine, but I did have to ask for a refill instead of him seeing I was out of water (that is what I base the majority of my tip on because almost everything else is out of their control). Once our food arrived some was over cooked and some was under cooked (pieces of my steak were medium well and pieces of my steak were rare). It was still a good time, but could have been better. Had the best service here. Probably the best service we have had anywhere in 5 years. Charley was our waitress and she knew her job and did it well. This girl needs to be promoted. We had a table of 8 and there were zero errors, service was incredibly fast and friendly. I know that the food and quickness also had to do with the cook staff and management, so major props to the kitchen as well as the manager. You can tell this place is ran right. We will be back. Ordered bbq chicken, sweet potato, and chili to go. My wife had the smothered chicken. I usually like Roadhouse, but when we got it home, my chicken breast was so small, must have been a baby chicken. The rolls were bite-sized, seriously, and my wife's order was incorrect. For the price, I expect the order to be correct and get normal portion sizes. I've added a few pics. Might be hard to tell, but this is seriously ridiculous. I'll just eat at home from now on. Great, great, great, food. If you are affiliated with the military, such as an active military or a veteran, you get a 30% discount. The atmosphere is booming, it's very kids friendly. Our kids love to go there. I can't remember ever having a bad experience. The staff goes out of their way to make sure all your needs are met. The price is very reasonable. One of the best steaks in the area! 🥩 Rolls are on point and the service is killer. If your rolling through north Texas don’t wait to get to Oklahoma Because you won’t find anything comparable until you get to okc.
