Nice place! Nice beer selection. I got the BBQ burger, 9oz. Was very good!!! Also got a Caesar salad definitely on of the better Caesars I have had in a while. A must go!!! Awesome experience...! Food was outstanding. Portions are large. Staff were super friendly. Great view. A must stop if you are anywhere close. Outstanding burgers, great fries, and both for a good price. The 4oz burgers (Patty Melt and BBQ) we ordered were amazing. Got it to go and had to wait just a little, but well worth it. Atmosphere was that of a classic town bar, not a tourist-centric establishment - very refreshing at that! The Bird was impressive. A local bar with a laid back atmosphere. The views are some of the best you'll find in a bar. The food might be even better. The hamburger, wings, and Sunday brunch are all some.od the best you'll find. Being on a round trip we stopped here last Friday for dinner very hungry. I decided to take the Schnitzel. Coming from Germany also known as THE Schnitzel country that‘s quite a challenge. What can I say? I have had one of the best Schnitzel in my life. It was that good that the great view from the terrace didn‘t really count anymore. Very busy spot! We went on a Wednesday and it was jam packed. Got a burger and wings and both were good. They use english muffins are the bread (not my favorite but not bad). The burgers are ok the fries are sub par and the prices are outrageous. The only thing that this place has going for it is the customer service. We got the dirty !@#$ and the polish lawnmower. I modified the dirty by changing out the American cheese with Swiss. Both were good burgers but not worth what is charged. The fries just sucked. They were over cooked and over salted. Low-key bar that serves excellent food, especially the schnitzel (huge portions, see picture!). Wide variety of burgers. Menu makes it clear that they care about having a great experience for customers but won't tolerate rude and demanding people. Love it. I always look for a place where the locals go to find the best food and that is what I found at “The Bird” outside Jackson, WY. You will find this bar and restaurant in the back of an eclectic collection of businesses on the highway between Jackson and Alpine. They have a vast assortment of beers on tap which change regularly which you can tell by the impressive array of taps hanging from the walls and rafters. My wife and I both had the wings. She had hot BBQ and I had the medium buffalo style which were still spicy. Both tasted incredible. They have an outdoor patio with an incredible view of the mountains. Well worth looking for! A great restaurant off the center of Jackson. Food is delicious and much more reasonably priced. Both wings and steak are great. See a lot of locals, rather than tourists here. However, the staff do seem to be more friendly to the locals than to us :-P
