Definitely recommend. Owner and host Dan was very friendly, fried chicken plate lives up to the strong reviews, and biscuits were amazing as well. All sides were well worth it. Pleasant atmosphere with bluegrass tunes. Would come back for sure next time I’m in Blacksburg or the area. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Historic inside and comfortable. Food was hot and delicious. Recommend The Gobbler Bowl especially if it’s cold outside! Mac and cheese, apple butter and cornbread were tasty too! The owner sat us and welcomed us. Recommend reading the back story. House is the oldest house on Main St built in 1892. Highly recommend!
