Good food friendly service, clean. The restaurant has several smaller dinning rooms and a small video poker machines room. The small heated enclosed dingy room for about 20 people (pictured) and a larger dinning room. Most food involves seafood of course. Good beer on tap. Excellent food, excellent service, very relaxed atmosphere. I walked in 30 before they were going to close and they were more than happy to serve me and my wife. I had the cod and chips. We are so glad we chose to stop and eat lunch here. Our server was absolutely amazing and so great with our kids!!! Our server said she had been there about 10 years and it shows. The kids loved their food. My wife and I loved our food. The environment was awesome! I would definitely come back if ever in town. We are out of state visiting family. The food was great. the service was good! I ordered a fish sandwich, and when it came out, it had a small hair on the fries. I told my server, and they had my food remade quickly! Good recovery from an accident. Had a great meal with good company. The only downer was that there are no fresh oysters on the half shell on their menu. We just happened upon this place for lunch on the way home from Gold Beach. It has a small area to dine and there is a covered deck outside for dining as well. I will say right off the bat if you are in a hurry or don't want to wait for your food don't stop here. Your wait is probably going to be between 30 to 45 minutes. This is because they make everything fresh when they receive your order. We ordered the fish sandwich & chips and the cod & chips. I also ordered a cup of clam chowder. The fish sandwich was excellent. Fresh was hit and flaky. The bread was soft with not too much tarter sauce on it. The cod was hot and perfectly cooked with just a light coating of batter. Fries were hot and fresh and plentiful. Portions were a good size. The prices were reasonable. If your looking for a casual fish house with good food and reasonable prices give this place a try. It won't disappoint.
