Southern cooking at it's best! The fried eggplant and fried chicken are a must! Such a cool and unique experience eating at the large round table with a lazy susan in the middle. Will be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The experience would have been more enjoyable if it wasn't for the awful stench! I don't know what it was or where it was coming from but the owner needs to FRESHEN up that place immediately. IVE GONE TO THE DINNER BELL SINCE I WAS A CHILD.. Today the food was awful. slop and no dumplings. Ribs hard and cold just a mess. Drove from Baton Rouge to eat garbage. They have cut back and raised the cost 60.00 for 3 people. They need to close shop. The food was nasty old and cold. 2 dessert choices brownies and some nasty banana pudding. Unbelievable. I come down from Kentucky and had the privilege of having Thanksgiving dinner @ the dinner 🔔. Food was wonderful and a great experience, I would most definitely be back and recommend this restaurant to everyone. Love the tables ,no wait staff asking you you every 45 seconds, you o.k ? Used to aways a good home cooked meal with lots of yummy veggies, but I don't ever remember all of the vegetables tasting the same ... heavily of sugar. I guess we could call that southern cooking and the reason the health is so bad in this part of the country but I'm trying to eat better and when I'm going to go somewhere to eat a meal of vegetables I don't want them to all taste like they've got a ton of sugar in them so I don't think I'll be back anymore after years of coming here this time was very disappointing. For those that eat meat there were no healthy meat choices barbecue pork ribs that had a lot of fat on them sausage and fried chicken. For those of us not eating meat $21 is a lot to pay for a plate of sugared vegetables: :(
