Came here for dinner and the food was hot and fresh. The ice cream machine was OOC at the time but other than that the experience was premium. I hadn’t had ham hocks in years and they had some on the buffet which were cooked very well. The waitstaff was extremely friendly and attentive. They have senior and military discounts which helps our aging population. I came on a Sunday when the price was $18 and they don’t offer senior discounts on that day only. Styrofoam plates and plastic utensils are being utilized for meals. The fried chicken and all other items were being replenished expeditiously. This is the first buffet place I’ve eaten where they have more wings than large pieces of chicken, which is a positive!

First time here. Absolutely great.
My favorite is the sweet tater souffle and squash puppies. But all the food is great

I always feel bad making a review less than five stars, especially when the facility is rated very highly because it tells me that my experience or interpretation is abnormal. Also because it takes a lot to make me move from 5 stars to 4 stars. My 3 star reviews are for when I have an experience that isn't necessarily bad, just not really enjoyable...
Buffets can always be hit or miss. Quality of food often depends on the time of day, as well as what's on the rotating schedule. I felt that the entrees were underrepresented in the line, with a major focus being placed on side dishes. I wouldn't say that I felt unwelcome, but the decor made the welcome feel more utilitarian than homely. I think part of it may have been the styrofoam dishes and plastic cultlery. The fact that they don't have dishes subtly sent me the message that they didn't want to spend time on the turnaround. While this may not have been the intent, it was the message I personally got. For the most part, the food was good, though. The level of quality I expect at an all-you-care-to-eat buffet. However, the yeast rolls and corn muffins were subpar, which also set me on edge. As far as I'm concerned, the bread is the heart of a southern meal, so if that's not up to standard, it negatively affects the entire experience.
I won't say to avoid this place. It certainly has its market, and as I said earlier in my review this place was not up to MY standards, but I'm certain a lot of people enjoy it (the parking lot's fullness when I arrived attests to that.) But I will personally say, if you are expecting something reminiscent of the "Old Country Buffet" you will find it lacking.
