Went to breakfast with my Sister and Mom on my last day in California. I chose Heritage Family Pantry. I had the Country fried steak,eggs,and hash browns,my mom had Eggs Benedict and hash browns,and my sister had the chorizo skillet. I actually introduced a new restaurant for my sister and her family to come down from Irvine and have some delicious food. The food was good and the portions are huge!! The service was good once we got it. Our server was visibly busy, not her fault. We waited maybe 5 minutes before the manager got drinks for us and then maybe another 10 before our server came and took our order. Meanwhile, there was another server who was too busy running his mouth with his tables about nothing work related. He probably should've used that time to be a better team player!!! We decided it was cheaper for us to get traditional Thanksgiving dinners by buying two ready-made, without the fuss and muss of cooking, and the price of a whole spread. We used to go elsewhere, but someone reminded me about this place. Sure enough, they had a Thanksgiving Special. It was 29.99 each, but it was worth it! It was at least enough for 2 servings in each dinner and came with turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, candied yams, a pumpkin muffin, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. Whew, it was a lot, and it was delicious. Everything was homemade or from scratch to be more correct. I didn't think to take photos, but I can tell. Of course, you can go throughout the year, as I have had delicious food and good service there for many years.
