Took my wife there on Valentines Day. Nice restaurant and decor. Waitresses were cordial and pleasant. As we were being seated, other customers had chicken fried steaks that were thick, golden and covered more than half a dinner plate, so that is what we ordered. When we got our order it had been cooked to the point that the edges were charred black and tasted the way it looked. The baked potato and salad were good. So for the occasion and first time visit, the wife and I are very much less than impressed with the meat dish that was served us. Oh, by the way, if you would like a dinner roll with your dinner, you have to ask for them.

A great little find! Aan out of the beaten path, hometown feel restaurant. The chicken fried steak, brisket sandwich were great choices in our group. Very reasonably priced, good service, even though they had a huge group to serve. Very friendly waitress, food was served quickly and cooked just right. The lunch menu portions were very generous, several in our group took boxes home. Definitely recommend stopping in for lunch.

It's a nice place and the food is good. My lunch Chicken Fried Steak was thick and filling but the meat a little chewy. Could have been more tender. I was surprised they were out of salad on on Wednesday lunch. Local store should have some produce ? Also, they ran out of cups according to the waitress. Our friends told us that on a previous trip, they were out of menus and had to wait for menus to be freed up. Very poor management if these things are happening. But, the service was very good and the food (minus the chewy meat) was also very good.

Great place for great food! Staff is usually friendly, place is Clean! Amazing chicken fried steaks. Salmon is very good too. My favorite appetizer is the classic fried mushrooms though...yum.
