After visiting Smoky Mountain Art, you can look over the menu at this steakhouse. If hungry, come here for nicely cooked grilled prawns, grilled salads and BBQ ribs. The truth is that you will really like tasty vanilla ice cream, cobbler and crème brûlée. Most likely, you'll come back to The Park Grill later to taste good wine, draft beer or bourbon. Mom and I loved our meals. I got a huge burger - the Wiley Oakley, two 10oz beef patties, two slices of American cheese - and it was really good. I could only eat a little bit, and I'm a big boy, so I brought the rest home in a box to eat the next day - still good. The fries that came with it were great. I couldn't stop eating them. Mom's boyfriend unfortunately got a bad meal. He ordered the shrimp and chicken, and got the saddest little pieces of each, and they didn't taste very good according to him. It looked like a fancy meal from a high-end restaurant, where there's a big plate, and just a few little bits of nothing on it. Very sad. We were there right as they were closing, so maybe they ran out of the good stuff by then and tried to make something out of what they had left? I'd say ask them about that if you still want it. Maybe it's great at other times. Other than that, it was really dead, because it's the offseason, so we had to place almost to ourselves, and the atmosphere and service were both great. They got the salad bar, which I did not get, so I can't comment, but it looked good. A beautiful restaurant! We have always had good service! Most of us just get the salad bar, but dont miss the the shrimp bisque! It is delicious! Especially with the rolls! I've gotten the ribs & mashed potatoes (very tasty!), which also comes with the salad bar! Well, it wasn’t the best, but certainly wasn’t the worst! We wanted to go to the Peddler, but there was no reservations available. The is a sister restaurant so we thought we would try it out. We had great service, and like I said the food was fine, but NOT for what we paid! It was pricey! Mostly what I did not like was the salad bar! OMG! No! Wayyyy too many germs. All kinds of flu, streptococcus, RSV funk going around. That was just a breeding ground! So, if you like salad bars and you’re willing to risk it, then it looked pretty good. I had the BBQ sampler. The chicken was good and moist, the pulled pork was under seasoned, and the ribs were tough and dry. I asked for some tender ones but got more of the same.
